Friend to Friend Spring Card

Hello everyone! I hope you all are enjoying your Sunday : ). But here's a card that will brighten anyone's day!

Here's the card for today! I hope you enjoy it! : )

Here's the supplies basket!

Modern Label Punch by Stampin' Up!
Paper Flowers
Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set
Versa Mark ink Pad
White Embrodery String
3D Squares
ZING White embossing Powder
White Gel Pen
Heat Gun
Below is the paper that I used for this card

I used a bright blue cardstock as my base. It's my standard 4-1/4x5-1/2. Then I cut some paterned paper at 3-3/4x5 and the orange cardstock at 3-1/8x4-5/8.

So I adhered the orange and paterned cardstock on top of eachother. Then with my modern label punch I punched it out in the bottom left of it.

I tied some white string around the card from the punched out image to the edge. Then I added dimensionals.

The front should look something like this. I tied a small bow at the end.

I placed the top layer of the card over the base and traced the punched image lightly with a pencil over the base. Then I used my stamp and versamark ink to stamp the image and use my embossing powder to make the image above. Then I erased the traced image.

I put a white dash line around my orange card layer and then I added my white flowers. You can use glitter or gems in the middle of them, but I did not. I adhered the two flowers and then for the 3 one I put a dimesional on the back. I hope you liked today's card! Tune in next weekend! : )

SO Deer Card - Pattern Paper Basics

Hi everyone! Welcome back to Scrappin on Sunday! I wanted to do a little card with my new cricut machine and how to pick out pattern paper and my current pattern paper obsession at the moment. : ) So keep reading! : )

Here's the card for today! Its super cute! : ) I love the dear : )

For the supplies:
Here is my favorite pattern paper pads. I bought these from Michaels Craft store for half off. They are awesome! : ) 240 in each pad! Love it great buy!

Here in the basket, I used my Cricut 2, Create a Critter, Stamp n Bond, Martha Stewart Glitter, Light brown organza ribbon, Versa Mark ink, Light brown cardstock, white cardstock, creme cardstock.

Here I used my two pattern paper from the floral paper pad. They go together as a aset with color matching. So I decided to use the stripes with a little floral patern. A large pattern like the stripes pair up nice with the small floral pattern. In pattern paper its always good to pick out one sheet with lots of colors and to match one laid back color from the set. Then I found some light brown and white cardstock as well and paired it nicely.

Here as you can see I used the light brown cardstock as the base and its at the standard card size 5-1/2x4-1/4. And I trimmed the floral sheet to 4-1/4x2-1/2. Then I trimmed the vertical stripes 4-1/4x3-1/2. These do overlap.

So you will have some over lap in the paper but that's alright the next step will show you why : )

I love this look with organza ribbon. I just layered it over the floral so it balanced out the card layout.

Here is what is on my cricut screen! And how I spaced everything out. I used the deer and the little caption and goes with it.

Here is my spacing for the deer : )

Here is my final product. I put glitter on the third layer of the dear and glitter on the first layer of the saying. To learn how I did the glitter check out my tutorial up top : ) I hope you enjoyed this card tutorial and I'll see you again next week! : )

Hoppy Easter Card!

Hey Everyone! : ) I'm back! I'm really sorry for the absence! I've been really busy and I have had no time for card making.. But now I am! I will be starting a new segment called Scraping on Sunday. Where I will post a main card on Sunday along with a tutorial. So be aware! : ) But now.. here's the card!

Here's the card for today! It's so cute! : )

Here is the supply basket for today! : )

Cricut Machine
Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge
Stampin' Up! Word Window Punch
Stampin' Up! Modern Label Punch
Stampin' Up! Wild Wasabi Ink Pad
Stampin' Up! Wild Wasabi Cardstock
Light Yellow Card Stock
White Cardstock
Polka Dot Patern Paper
Recollections Pattern Paper Pad
Versa Mark Ink Pad
Versa Mark Ink Pen
Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set
Stamp n Bond Powder
Martha Stewart Green Glitter
Thick Yellow Organza Ribbon
Martha Stewart Scoring Bored
Martha Stewart Heat Gun

You Really don't need all of these.. but I added lots of steps in it today's card!!

So this is what I was originally gonna do with the card.. but I decided not to use the green and yellow patterned paper and not to use the white card stock in the layering. But I used the light yellow cardstock and trimmed it to the standard card size of 4-1/4x5-1/2 inches. Then I trimmed the polka dot green patterned paper to 4x5-1/4.

Here is the layout on my Cricut for you to see how I set up the Bunny and the carrot! The size of the bunny is 3.75 inches. And the carrot is 2.75 inches along with its attachment.

Here's how I laid out the paper! I just followed the lines on the cricut mat. Ignore the smudge on the mat.. Long story! : (

This is what you get at the end of cutting out from the Cricut. Next Layer the layers : ) on top of eachother like so..

I added all of the bunny layers and look how cute he is! : D Also on the carrot I put Green Martha Stewart Glitter on the leaf. Check out the video tutorial page for how to apply loose glitter effectively. Then I adhered the layer on the carrot and added Versa Mark Ink pen with little lines on the carrot! : )

Here I tied the yellow organza ribbon around the green patterned paper and tied it into a little knot. : ) then I adhered it to the Card base. Then with my modern label punch I punched out the white cardstock and then stamped the Happy Easter Sentiment in Wild Wasabi on light yellow cardstock. Then I punched it out from the word window punch.

Here's the finished product! : ) I added the bunny and carrot together and the sentiment up top! Enjoy! Thanks again everyone for being loyal!
