Jar sentiment!

Here's today's card! I hope you like it! It's one of my favorites! I wanted to try something a little different. I didn't want the scrap paper from Teusday's card to go to waste so I decided to use the leftovers! ; ) I really enjoyed the outcome of this card.

Here's what's in the supplies basket today! : )

Dear Lizzy Paper Pad
Pink Cardstock
Kraft Cardstock
VersaMark Ink Pad
Modern Label Punch
Word Window Punch
Martha Stewart Circle Cutter
Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp
Dimensionals
Cuttlebug
Swiss Dot Embossing Folder
Zing! White Embossing Folder
Cream Grossgrain Ribbon

And there it is! And I also used my Martha Stewart Scoring board, and Heat Gun! : )

Here I used my standard card size again of Kraft Cardstock, 4-1/4x5-1/2. Then I cut some random square out of my scrap pattern paper. You can choose what ever size you want!

As you can see here, I fit in the puzzle pieces of the pattern paper. I trimmed them to size and added a little something in the next step!

Here it is! I thought the lines looked a little out of place so I addhere some cream ribbon like so.

I used my circle cutter to cut out a 3" pink circle. This circle cutter is really sharp, and I used my Cuttlebug B plate to cut it.

I cranked the pink circle through my Swiss Dot Embossing Folder.

Here I took the jar paper out of the Dear Lizzy Paper Pad. I cut out a random jar around the white edge.

I took some scrap kraft cardstock and made a little banner out of it then used my teeny tiny wish stamp sets and embossed the images.

I adhered the pink dry embossed circle on the intersections of the ribbon. Then I added dimensionals on the back of the jar and put it on the circle. I adhered the banner on the back of the jar.

This is another look at the card! I hope you liked todays card! : ) By the way! Today was nice and warm! IT reached 85 Degrees today! See you soon!

Summer Flag Card

Hey everyone! Hope your week is going well.. As you can see there has been more free time for me and the cardmaking will begin to pick up! I hope your enjoying my tutorials! : )

Here's the card for today! : ) I really like the layered look from the card on Tuesday so I decided to replicate it again some how. I also found these flags from a die cut pack I bought at Micheals Craft store around Valentines Day that I never used so this works out well! : )

Here's the supplies basket for today! : )

My Minds Eye Miss Caroline Paper Pad
K&Company Flag Die Cuts
Versa Mark Ink Pad
Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set
Modern Label Punch
Word Window Punch
Zing! White Embossing Powder
Gel Pen
Small dimensionals
Pink Cardstock
Corner Rounder
Red Gems
Pink organza Ribbon

Thats a mouthful! But great results come with it! ; ) By the way feel free to email me pictures of your designs and you could be featured on the next card tutorial!

Here I did the same layer idea from Teusday's card and I used my 4-1/4x5-1/2 pink base cardstock, the cut my patterned paper at 4-1/4x5-1/2. I then cut some pink cardstock out at 3-5/8x4-7/8.

Here I took my third pink cardstock layer and I corner rounded the edges of the layer and then I cut some pink organza ribbon and addhered it to the back. I took a small red gem and placed it in the bottom left corner as well!

Here I punched out with my Modern Label Punch out of the second layer pattern and then I used my sentiment 'Just For You' And used the same technique as the card on Tuesday.
- Stamp the image/sentiment in VersaMark Ink
- Spread embossing powder over the entire stamped image
- Tap off extra and heat with heat gun
This is so simple and looks great! Then I punched it out with my Word Window Punch and placed dimensionals on the back of it. And adhered the punched images to eachother and then onto the bottom right of the card.

Here I used my flags and spread them out evenly and adheared them to the layer just below the ribbon in a curved shape.

Here is the final look. I used my white gel pen to add some dash lines at the top above the ribbon and a line with bows for where the banner goes. Every detail counts in card! Don't ever forget it! : )

Paper Weave Card

Hey everyone! This paper pad was calling to me so I decided to make a cute card out of it. I love all the paper in this collection, so I saw a Card Map from PageMaps.com and it gave me some good inspiration today! : ) This is the template at the bottom of what gave me inspiration.

Here's my version of the card!

I wanted to make it simple but I got to use all of the patterns in the pad! : D

Guess whats in the basket today!

ZING! White embossing powder
Dear Lizzy paper pad
VersaMark Ink Pad
Kraft Cardstock
Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set
Martha Stewart Scoring Board
Martha Stewart Heat Gun

This card was so easy to make! Shows how some inspiration can go a long way! : )

Here I have my basic Kraft cardstock base of 4-1/4x5-1/2. The pattern paper from the Dear Lizzy Pad is 4-1/4x5-1/2, the same size as the base layer. I decided to use the same colored Kraft cardstock than the white. But the third layer is cut at 3-5/8x4-7/8.

Here I took my favorite patterns from the pad and cut them into strips of 3/4.

Here is another lok of the strips of paper with the paper pad! I just love this pad! : D My favorite!

Here as you can see I took the strips of paper and started weaving them. I suggest testing it out and experimenting with what you would like to see. I want a sentiment at the bottom right so I made sure to trim it at the bottom later on. (Again I used the Kraft cardstock instead of the white).

Here the strips are marked where exactly I wanted to trim the lengths off.

Here I almost have my finished product! : D I trimmed the strips of paper. I also added that Kraft card layer I've been talking about. Looks a lot better if I do say so myself. But I made sure to trim the darker floral paper up so I can stamp my sentiment. I adhered the first layer onto the base, then the kraft. I finally adhered my strips of paper with the weaved look.

Ok! The last step! I stamped my sentiment in VersaMark Ink and added the embossing powder. I heated it with my Heat Gun and there you go! : ) Warning the heat gun can warp the paper, so I would suggest letting it heat up a bit before you use it and to heat the card itself a bit.

Here is the finished card! I love it! : ) So simple and yet pretty! Thank you for tuning! : ) See you soon!

Friend to Friend Spring Card

Hello everyone! I hope you all are enjoying your Sunday : ). But here's a card that will brighten anyone's day!

Here's the card for today! I hope you enjoy it! : )

Here's the supplies basket!

Modern Label Punch by Stampin' Up!
Paper Flowers
Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set
Versa Mark ink Pad
White Embrodery String
3D Squares
ZING White embossing Powder
White Gel Pen
Heat Gun
Below is the paper that I used for this card

I used a bright blue cardstock as my base. It's my standard 4-1/4x5-1/2. Then I cut some paterned paper at 3-3/4x5 and the orange cardstock at 3-1/8x4-5/8.

So I adhered the orange and paterned cardstock on top of eachother. Then with my modern label punch I punched it out in the bottom left of it.

I tied some white string around the card from the punched out image to the edge. Then I added dimensionals.

The front should look something like this. I tied a small bow at the end.

I placed the top layer of the card over the base and traced the punched image lightly with a pencil over the base. Then I used my stamp and versamark ink to stamp the image and use my embossing powder to make the image above. Then I erased the traced image.

I put a white dash line around my orange card layer and then I added my white flowers. You can use glitter or gems in the middle of them, but I did not. I adhered the two flowers and then for the 3 one I put a dimesional on the back. I hope you liked today's card! Tune in next weekend! : )

SO Deer Card - Pattern Paper Basics

Hi everyone! Welcome back to Scrappin on Sunday! I wanted to do a little card with my new cricut machine and how to pick out pattern paper and my current pattern paper obsession at the moment. : ) So keep reading! : )

Here's the card for today! Its super cute! : ) I love the dear : )

For the supplies:
Here is my favorite pattern paper pads. I bought these from Michaels Craft store for half off. They are awesome! : ) 240 in each pad! Love it great buy!

Here in the basket, I used my Cricut 2, Create a Critter, Stamp n Bond, Martha Stewart Glitter, Light brown organza ribbon, Versa Mark ink, Light brown cardstock, white cardstock, creme cardstock.

Here I used my two pattern paper from the floral paper pad. They go together as a aset with color matching. So I decided to use the stripes with a little floral patern. A large pattern like the stripes pair up nice with the small floral pattern. In pattern paper its always good to pick out one sheet with lots of colors and to match one laid back color from the set. Then I found some light brown and white cardstock as well and paired it nicely.

Here as you can see I used the light brown cardstock as the base and its at the standard card size 5-1/2x4-1/4. And I trimmed the floral sheet to 4-1/4x2-1/2. Then I trimmed the vertical stripes 4-1/4x3-1/2. These do overlap.

So you will have some over lap in the paper but that's alright the next step will show you why : )

I love this look with organza ribbon. I just layered it over the floral so it balanced out the card layout.

Here is what is on my cricut screen! And how I spaced everything out. I used the deer and the little caption and goes with it.

Here is my spacing for the deer : )

Here is my final product. I put glitter on the third layer of the dear and glitter on the first layer of the saying. To learn how I did the glitter check out my tutorial up top : ) I hope you enjoyed this card tutorial and I'll see you again next week! : )
