Friend to Friend Spring Card

Hello everyone! I hope you all are enjoying your Sunday : ). But here's a card that will brighten anyone's day!

Here's the card for today! I hope you enjoy it! : )

Here's the supplies basket!

Modern Label Punch by Stampin' Up!
Paper Flowers
Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set
Versa Mark ink Pad
White Embrodery String
3D Squares
ZING White embossing Powder
White Gel Pen
Heat Gun
Below is the paper that I used for this card

I used a bright blue cardstock as my base. It's my standard 4-1/4x5-1/2. Then I cut some paterned paper at 3-3/4x5 and the orange cardstock at 3-1/8x4-5/8.

So I adhered the orange and paterned cardstock on top of eachother. Then with my modern label punch I punched it out in the bottom left of it.

I tied some white string around the card from the punched out image to the edge. Then I added dimensionals.

The front should look something like this. I tied a small bow at the end.

I placed the top layer of the card over the base and traced the punched image lightly with a pencil over the base. Then I used my stamp and versamark ink to stamp the image and use my embossing powder to make the image above. Then I erased the traced image.

I put a white dash line around my orange card layer and then I added my white flowers. You can use glitter or gems in the middle of them, but I did not. I adhered the two flowers and then for the 3 one I put a dimesional on the back. I hope you liked today's card! Tune in next weekend! : )

  2. Hi Carly - your card is so happy, especially with the orange and turquoise color combo. And great idea to have your sentiment peeking through the frame opening, lots of good dimension there! Thanks for your comment on my blog today. The coffee cup stamp and die are from Papertrey Ink. Luckily, they are packaged as one of the small, cheap sets, so the coffee cup/cozy/sentiment stamp set is $6 and the die is $5 (if I recall). Love 'em!
